RWP Badminton Club is a friendly, welcoming and vibrant club based in Hanham, South East Bristol, close to the ring road.
We accommodate a range of standards from good club players to higher league standard. We are always keen to welcome new members.
We are committed to help people improve their game, and arranged coaching for those who wanted it over the summer.
The club offers a pay and play membership, ideal for those looking for a second club or people who are unable to commit to playing every week.
From January 2023 we are adding a social club 6:30-7:30pm to help people improve and progress their game. The cost for a social session is £3.
RWP Badminton Club was originally formed back in 1971 by employees of the Robinsons Waxed Paper company for their employees.
After the first year, the original organisers left but the club continued independently retaining the name RWP Badminton Club.
The club regularly enter teams in all categories of the Bristol Badminton League, which provides all our club members the chance to play competitively against other local badminton clubs.
If you’re looking for a badminton club in South East Bristol, you won’t find a nicer one than RWP Badminton Club.
